The project Emptiness to commemorate, came about from the cooperation of two researchers and eight students from the Amsterdam University of the Arts and InHolland University of Applied Sciences.
From Sluislab, part of InHolland, a learning lab for social innovation located on Zeeburgereiland, An Kramer studies how imagining the more than human perspective can bring about connections between people and with their surroundings.
Judy Jaffe-Schagen conducts research on commemoration practices, as part of the Cultural Heritage Research group at the Reinwardt Academy, part of the Amsterdam University of the Arts. This project is funded by CoECI, centre of expertise Creative Innovation.
